  • 50 g 1/3 cup Dill pickles

  • 20 g 2 tbsp Red onion

  • 5 ml 1 tsp Fresh lemon juice

  • 5 g 1 tbsp Fresh parsley

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Medium mixing bowl
  • Fork
  • spoons
  • Knife
  • cutting board
  • Measuring cups (US)

Directions

  • Start by draining the canned tuna and place it in a medium mixing bowl. Flake the tuna with a fork to break it into smaller pieces.
  • Finely chop the dill pickles and red onion. Add these to the bowl with the tuna.
  • Add mayonnaise, fresh lemon juice, and chopped parsley to the tuna and vegetables. Mix well until everything is evenly coated.
  • Taste the salad and season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  • You can serve the tuna salad on its own, on a bed of lettuce, or as a filling for a sandwich or wrap.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a teaspoon of Dijon mustard to the dressing. This will give the salad a tangy kick that pairs well with the pickles.
