Ingredients

  • 1 1 Brie cheese

  • 4 tablespoons 4 tbsp hot honey

  • 30 g 1/4 cup chopped pecans

  • 1 1 sprig of fresh rosemary or thyme

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Cutting board et Knife
  • Parchment paper

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the wheel of Brie in a small oven-safe dish or on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Using a sharp knife, score the top of the Brie in a crisscross pattern, cutting about 1/4 inch deep. This will help the cheese melt evenly and allow the hot honey to seep in.
  • Drizzle about half of your homemade hot honey over the scored Brie, ensuring it gets into the cuts.
  • If using, sprinkle the chopped pecans over the top of the Brie and around the edges.
  • If desired, place a sprig of fresh rosemary or thyme on top for added aroma and flavor.
  • Place the Brie in the preheated oven and bake for 10 minutes, or until the cheese is soft and gooey when you touch the center.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for 3-5 minutes.
  • Just before serving, drizzle the remaining hot honey over the baked Brie.
  • Serve immediately with an assortment of crackers, sliced baguette, or apple slices for dipping.
