  • 1/4 1/4 medium green cabbage

  • 1/4 1/4 medium red cabbage

  • 1 1 carrot

  • 2 2 oignons verts

  • 30 g 2 tasse cilantro leaves

  • 1 cuillère à café 1 cuillère à café grated fresh ginger

  • 1 1 gousse d'ail

  • 1 cuillère à soupe 1 cuillère à soupe toasted sesame seeds

Directions

  • Prepare the Vegetables: Start by shredding the green and red cabbage. Julienne the carrot, and thinly slice the green onions. Place all the vegetables into a large mixing bowl along with the fresh cilantro leaves.
  • Make the Dressing: In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey (or maple syrup), grated ginger, and minced garlic until well combined.
  • Toss the Coleslaw: Drizzle the dressing over the cabbage mixture. Use a pair of tongs or a large spoon to toss everything together until all the vegetables are evenly coated with the dressing.
  • Garnish and Serve: Sprinkle the toasted sesame seeds over the top of the coleslaw. Serve immediately, or let it sit for 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together before serving.
