  • 10 leaves 10 leaves Fresh mint leaves

  • 15 ml 1 tbsp Lime juice

  • 10 ml 2/3 tbsp Honey

  • Ice cubes

Equipment

  • Blender
  • fine mesh strainer
  • knife
  • cutting board
  • Tall glass

Directions

  • Start by dicing the watermelon and peeling and slicing the cucumber. Set them aside.
  • In a blender, add the diced watermelon, sliced cucumber, fresh mint leaves, and lime juice. Blend until the mixture is smooth.
  • If you prefer a smoother juice, pour the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl, pressing the pulp to extract as much juice as possible.
  • Taste the juice and, if desired, add honey. Stir until it’s fully dissolved.
  • Fill a tall glass with ice cubes and pour the juice over the ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint or a slice of cucumber for an extra touch.

Notes

  • For an extra refreshing twist, chill your watermelon and cucumber in the refrigerator for a few hours before blending. This way, your juice will be icy cold without needing too much ice, which can dilute the flavors.
